Yoga Teacher Training - that will give you the level of growth you are looking for.

You keep choosing yoga… not because it’s trendy.

But because it’s the only place your nervous system exhales.

Your body is asking for education, not more willpower. Not another program that tells you to breathe and trust the universe. Real science. Real practice. In a room, together, in the Okanagan.

You don’t need a reason beyond yourself.

Does any of this sound like you?

-You are an educated individual who’s been taught things about your body that just don’t hold up to scrutiny.

-You feel overwhelmed by the hundreds of YTTs and Instagram yoga gurus out there.

-You doubt you will ever actually teach, but instead crave yoga certification as milestone in your personal journey of continued evolution.

What if Yoga wasn’t an escape… But the system that rewired how you live, work, and respond?

You are worth this. Whether or not you ever stand in front of a class.

For too long, it’s been your brain vs your body. If only you had more energy, felt better and were less tired, you could be less reactive and more calm. But it feels like even with all of your effort, it’s never enough.

You wake up feeling stuck and needing a change. You reach for your phone to look at the news (code for scrolling on Instagram) with this underlying, gnawing sensation that there is more out there for you.

The daily hustle and grind just isn’t cutting it for you anymore. It’s like you’re living in someone else’s life and you wonder how you got here.

Yoga isn’t just movement — it’s nervous system education.

For people who feel calm on the mat and overwhelmed everywhere else.

For people who feel calm on the mat and overwhelmed everywhere else.

Yoga Isn’t the Point — Regulation Is.

Research in Frontiers in Psychiatry (Schleinzer et al., 2024) confirms yoga as a clinically meaningful, non-pharmacological intervention for stress regulation. This is the science behind the practice — and it's what we teach.

From the first time you tried out a yoga class, you felt a connection. You can’t quite pinpoint what it was about it exactly: the movements, focusing on your breath, or the peacefulness of the practice, but you’re drawn to know more.

“It was like 17 days of therapy… it showed me what I am capable of when I put myself first.”

Kirsten P. YTT graduate, Feb 2024

Actually Educational Yoga Training that will Forever Change Your Life

We were tired of seeing people injured in Yoga classes taught by teachers who didn’t fully understand anatomy, or didn’t know how to intentionally plan classes that would allow peoples nervous systems to fully soften. We were frustrated by instructors more interested in the aesthetics of the postures, then guiding students on a safe Yoga journey.

We set out to change this.

The Yoga Science School was born out of our respect for Yoga and our desire to teach it in a safe and neuroscience-grounded way.

Aligned and aware, we are a group of experienced and highly qualified Yoga teachers, community builders, and devoted to supporting YOU.
